Long range weather forecasting

Long Range Weather Forecasting Tools

To put it very simply many of the great weather forecasters from the past have been using the correlation of planetary phenomena to forecast Sunspots and weather features in advance for thousands of years. This calculator borrows on ideas from many of them in and gives you the tools to forecast similar ideas.

Many of the people creating meaningful forecasts in the 20th Century were using Heliocentric Astrology to forecast Sunspots by using Planetary conjunctions and oppositions to give the trigger dates for when the spots would begin to form on the surface of the Sun. Fr. Jerome Ricard believed that there is a differing count of days depending on the planetary pairs and their distance from the Sun. Some planetary combinations will yield almost instant correlation whilst others will take a count of days before we see the interference and energy reach us here on earth.

Richard Mansill was using similar ideas decades before Ricard’s theories were known. Mansil also believed that the Heliocentric Oppositions and Conjunctions yielded magnetic interference on the surface of the sun, resulting in Sunspots, which in turn have a direct correlation with the planets. Both men were extremely accurate in their ability to forecast the weather and you can learn much from their ideas.

Mansill theorised that as the planets reached Perihelion (Closest to the Sun) that you would have an uptick in Sunspot activity and as the planets moved further away (Aphelion) that they would decrease, with the main planet of influence being Jupiter. This idea was based on Kepler’s third law being “the squares of the orbital periods vary in proportion to the cubes of the semi-major axes” which is very Similar to Newton’s Inverse square rule.

At this Same time other researchers had begun to take note of the great magnetic influence coming from the Apex of the Sun or the direction that the sun takes as it travels through space.  Many men of science had noted the extreme importance of this direction towards the constellation Hercules near the star Vega (in the nearby  constellation of Lyra).

Introduce Alfred J Cooper, Louis Tippenhauer and Australian Inigo Jones. They had all noted the extreme importance of this position in the zodiac and Jones in particular used this as his ‘datum’ point to give an indicator of magnetic influence and inefficacy. Jones essentially believed that when the planets were on the side of the sun facing his Datum point, that magnetic influence on the surface of the sun was diminished or blocked by the influence of the planets and we would see a decrease in geomagnetic energies when the planets were in opposition to this point we would see greater geomagnetic influence here on earth and as a general rule we would experience greater periods of flooding due to the extra heat and evaporation experienced in the atmosphere.

This is an extremely interesting topic and you can see why it would be in the interest of governments to discredit this type of research as he who knows the weather can control his own destiny. These cycles of weather, storms, earthquakes and other related phenomena would enable man to plan his financial affairs years in advance and you could imagine the power this would give insurance companies and government agencies. I have no doubt that these sciences have been fully utilised and explored by governments around the world.

If it is possible to forecast financial markets and the results of horse races based on the same principles, I am more than certain the weather is just as easily forecast.

The calculations I am providing you on these free access pages will give you the planetary phenomenon for your desired year. The seasonal forecast bar is literally Heliocentric conjunctions and oppositions to Jones’ datum point and gives an indication of what the year may look like, if a month should have above average or below average rainfall. There are many other wet and dry cycles that are not programmed into this tool. For example, an east-coast low which causes repeatable flooding to the Lismore area can be seen in relation at approx. 318 degrees when Saturn transits this point in a 59 year cycle. This was seen in 2022, 1963, 1904 etc.  The 59-year cycle is a magnetic cycle identified in the work of Louis Tippenhauer that occurs when the longitudinal averages of the planets calculate out to almost equal values.  Gann referred to similar ideas with his mean of the planets. Not to mention many of the ‘folk-lore’ related to planets and fixed stars yielding similar weather or terrestrial phenomena.

Other points calculated are the Aphelion and Perihelion point of the planets. With notes as to when you can expect increased or decreased effect from these planets in relation to Sunspots and weather phenomena.

We also calculate Heliocentric conjunctions and oppositions which can give an indication of higher energy periods when the sun is likely to be afflicted with disruption, which will increase the geomagnetic energy on earth.

In the Geocentric nature we calculate times when planets are crossing the equator, and I will add additional rules from the works of prominent astrometeorologists. I will need to add in the periods when planets reach their greatest northern or southern declinations, which I have not done yet. We also calculate out the lunar phases which can have astrology concepts applied to them also. The Parallels of planets also work like conjunctions, and I have listed those also.

This is just a free tool for those interested in these ideas to have a play with without having to buy unnecessary expensive astrological software just to retrieve this basic data.

This information is intended to offer entertainment and educational value and little more. If you would like to learn more about any of these ideas of the names mentioned above consider joining GannClub where I intend to write lessons, share rare written material and develop more sophisticated tools.   Note that some of these dates may have Lag in effect of influence and use this a tool to go back and compare with historic data for your location to devise your own weather rules. It is true that some localities appear to resonate with particular planetary degrees and you may see different cause and effect.
